For this year’s Gundam Challenge, there are three (3) categories – Junior Category, Open Category and New Challenge Category and each category will be judged by their creativity, quality of finishing, painting skills and overall presentation.

The Junior category is open to children aged 14 years old and below, while the Open Category is for those above the age of 15 years old.  The New Challenge Category is for first time participants and is divided into two categories – open and junior.

The preliminary matches will take place in various countries such as Hong Kong, Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, with the winners being declared the world’s top modelers.
